Darjeeling's gardens lie on the slopes of the Himalayas, at 600–2000 m. The first harvest after winter (first flush) is young leaves with lots of silver buds, oxidised more lightly than typical black tea. The infusion is light, floral and fresh.
Don't add milk or lemon. Brew it for less time than ordinary black tea, in water a little cooler than boiling.
